Gulf Shore Construction Services, Inc.

Health and Safety

Gulf Shore's policy is to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. Gulf Shore has developed a comprehensive Corporate Health and Safety Plan (HSP) defining the health and safety standards required for Gulf Shore projects. All Gulf Shore field personnel and subcontractors are required to follow the most stringent HSP whether it is Gulf Shore HSP or as, the client's HSP, while performing field activities. Site specific HSP's are developed for each project by Gulf Shore's management. In addition to adhering to the HSP, each of Gulf Shore field service personnel has up to date physicals and OSHA 40-hour training. Gulf Shore also provides all field personnel with an annual 8-hour OSHA refresher course.

Prior to initiating any field activities, Gulf Shore will designate a Site Health and Safety Officer (SHSO) to enforce compliance with the corporate and site specific HSP. Gulf Shore's SHSO will be responsible for conducting a site safety meeting, for Gulf Shore personnel and any subcontractors, each day prior to the initiation of field activities. A review of pertinent health and safety issues shall be covered each day by the designated SHSO.

As part of the pre-employment screening process, all prospective Gulf Shore employees undergo a rigorous pre-employment drug and alcohol screening process. No prospective employee's application is accepted prior to testing negative for various analytes. Employees are randomly monitored for drugs and alcohol during their tenure at Gulf Shore.

An employee that tests positive is placed in a non-safety sensitive position and requested to receive counseling. An employee that does not participate in a drug rehabilitation program is terminated. All employees receive medical monitoring in compliance with OSHA guidelines and the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).
